KrzysztofBy Krzysztof, founder of LaunchDirectories · Sources checked 23 October 2026

We read all 7 public reviews of StartupSubmit on Trustpilot, its homepage, its service pages and its terms. Four reviewers in August 2025 were happy; three reviewers in 2026 say they did not get what they paid for. Below are the prices, the delivery times its pages disagree on, and the fine print under the DR 30+ guarantee, next to how LaunchDirectories handles each.

    LaunchDirectories
76 reviews, 68 rated, all five stars

Short verdict: StartupSubmit sells the biggest directory counts and the boldest guarantee in this category. Its public record does not back the pitch yet: a 2.7 on Trustpilot, three one-star reviews in the last three months describing lost links and listings that were only user accounts, and delivery times that range from 3 days to 30 depending on which StartupSubmit page you read.

    • Reviews: Trustpilot 2.7 from 7 reviews, 4 five-star from one week in August 2025 and 3 one-star from August to October 2026.
    • Price: $99, $199 and $299 one-time; the top tier is 200+, 220+ or 250+ directories depending on the page.
    • Delivery: 5 to 7 days on the pricing cards, 3 to 10 business days and up to 30 in the terms, 5 to 15 in a Trustpilot reply.
    • Guarantee: DR 30+ on Authority; approval, dofollow links and refunds on completed work are excluded.

Based on StartupSubmit’s website, its terms and Trustpilot, checked 23 October 2026. This is an analysis of published evidence by LaunchDirectories, a competitor; it is not a hands-on test.

How StartupSubmit is rated, read on 23 October 2026.

The Trustpilot profile was claimed on 15 August 2025. Its four five-star reviews were published between 15 and 20 August 2025, the same week; its three one-star reviews arrived between 27 August and 21 October 2026. Trustpilot marks all seven as unprompted. We found no StartupSubmit listing on G2, Capterra or GetApp. For comparison, LaunchDirectories has 76 customer reviews, 68 rated and all five stars, read in full on the LaunchDirectories reviews page.

    From StartupSubmit’s own pages

Three things to check before you pay.

StartupSubmit publishes a lot of numbers, and they do not always agree with each other. The next three sections are what its pages said on 23 October 2026, each followed by how LaunchDirectories handles the same thing.

    1. StartupSubmit’s plans and the changing Authority price

StartupSubmit, from the sources linked, read 23 October 2026

The homepage lists Starter at $99 for 60+ directories, Growth at $199 for 150+ directories, and Authority at $299 for 200+ directories. Growth advertises a DR 0–20+ guarantee; Authority advertises DR 30+.

Its comparison page describes Authority as 220+ directories and shows a different crossed-out price ($599 instead of $699). Its X bio says 250+. All three plans are presented as discounts. Check its current pricing before ordering.

    On LaunchDirectories

three fixed prices, $99, $149 and $199, no strike-through, the same on every page, and the full directory list is public before you buy.

LaunchDirectories customer review, 12 Dec 2025

    2. StartupSubmit publishes three different delivery ranges

StartupSubmit, from the sources linked, read 23 October 2026

The pricing cards say 5–7 days, with 3–7 days for Express delivery on Authority. The terms say 3–10 business days, or up to 30 days during busy periods. In a September 2026 Trustpilot reply, the company gave a third range: 5–15 days.

The terms also say StartupSubmit does not track individual directory approvals after submission.

    On LaunchDirectories

one number, 4 to 6 business days on the order page, and most orders ship in one to three. When something cannot be submitted, the report says so and why.

    Pavel

“I did have to complete a few items myself, but they clearly explained what, where, and why they could not do them and gave recommendations on how to finish.”
LaunchDirectories customer review, 15 Aug 2025

    3. DR 30+ is guaranteed, but approval, dofollow links and refunds are not.

StartupSubmit, from the sources linked, read 23 October 2026

The homepage guarantees a submission count and a DR target: 30+ on Authority or 0–20+ on Growth. It does not guarantee directory approval, dofollow links, rankings, traffic or AI mentions. The terms say completed work is generally non-refundable, DR changes may take 30–90 days, and a rejected, delayed or removed listing does not qualify for a refund. One October 2026 reviewer says the DR increase disappeared when the links did.

    On LaunchDirectories

no DR number promised. You get the listing URL and a screenshot for every directory, so you can open each page and see your listing rather than a submission form.

    Umer Arif

“provided a detailed report with screenshots of every submission. Communication was great, and it saved me a lot of time doing the work myself. Since then, our domain rating has reached 26”

Five stars: traffic and links after a launch

“we also secured a bunch of quality "nofollow" and "dofollow" links that our SEO guy was very happy about.”
Trustpilot, about StartupSubmit, 15 Aug 2025

    On LaunchDirectories

the mechanism is the same. Each listing is a real page with its own Domain Rating, and the catalogue shows which directories give dofollow links before you order, so there is no surprise about the mix.

One star: user accounts instead of listings

“Instead of submitting the businesses as a listing in the directories, they just create a USER account using the email you provided, and then type your website in somehow: In search bars, on the user profile, etc, and show you a screenshot.”
Trustpilot, about StartupSubmit, 2 Oct 2026

    On LaunchDirectories

the report gives you the URL of the listing itself, not of a profile page, next to the screenshot. If a directory only offers a profile or needs an owner login, the report says so instead of counting it.

This page is written by a competitor, so StartupSubmit claims are sourced to its own site, its terms or Trustpilot with the date they were read, including the company’s own reply to a negative review. The comparison sticks to price, delivery time and what the guarantee covers. If StartupSubmit changes its pricing or new reviews appear, email [email protected] and I will update it.
