AI Directories review: $99 to $199 plans, 2 public reviews, and no delivery date

The pricing page shows Starter at $99 for 30+ free directories, Pro at $149 for 60+ directories and Premium at $199 for 100+. Pro includes about $59 in directory fees and Premium about $173; Starter excludes paid directories. An Ultimate plan is quoted after a call. All three published prices are shown with higher crossed-out prices. On Premium, by its own numbers, most of the price is listing fees paid onward to directories.

The directory database is public, 323+ sites with Ahrefs DR, but the per-plan lists behind each “View” link need the dashboard. Check AI Directories’ current pricing before ordering.

The homepage says “Get your tool listed within days and start attracting real users faster than organic SEO alone” and, above a demo video, “discover and submit your AI tools to hundreds of directories in 48 hours, not weeks”. Neither the pricing cards nor the FAQ names a turnaround. On results the FAQ says “typically you can expect to see improvements in domain authority and SEO rankings within a few weeks of submission”. Ordering starts with “our team will get in touch with you to kickstart your AI product launch journey”.

The FAQ answers “Is there a money-back guarantee?” with “We offer a satisfaction guarantee. If you are not happy with the results, we will work with you to make it right or provide a refund.” The terms of service page contains no refund clause, time limit or conditions. On proof: “we provide detailed reports on all submissions made to AI directories; for some directories we provide the confirmation link, others the success message.” No DR figure is guaranteed.

AI Directories started as a list, not a service. On 29 January 2024 the founder posted on X: “Submit you AI tool to a curated list with more than 130 directories for FREE”, and the Gumroad listing of that list (“100+ CURATED AI DIRECTORIES $0+”, 133 downloads) says “I started with 175 directories and meticulously whittled them down to the most effective 139.”

A third-party tool profile later recorded “a one-time payment of $49 (often discounted from a regular price of $99)”. By September 2026 an outside write-up quoted “Starter $99 for 30+, Pro $149 for 60+ and Premium $199 for 100+”, and on 23 October 2026 the pricing page showed the same three prices struck from $149, $199 and $249. The “discount” is the regular price with a higher number crossed out next to it.

Searching for reviews turns up aggregator pages rather than buyers. AlternativeTo lists it with 3 likes and “Reviews: None posted”. A coupon site shows “Ai Directories Reviews 4.5 (Rated by 13 users)”, but the 13 ratings carry no text and are all dated 11 to 15 April 2025. The site’s footer advertises “Affiliates — Earn up to $125 per sale”, which is worth knowing when a blog recommends it.

The only customer voices we found are the two Product Hunt reviews and the X posts quoted below. Two of the three testimonial tweets the homepage shows now return “Post Not Found”.

The homepage says “Hi, I’m Sergiu - the maker behind AI Directories” and “In 2023, I embarked on an indie hacking adventure”. His X bio lists AI Directories alongside TransClipper, ListMySaaS, Brandreply and CleanSnap, and the Trustpilot profile gives Portugal as the location. In an August 2026 Indie Hackers interview he wrote: “Across all my projects, I typically generate over $10k/mo. Last month, I hit a personal record of $15.7k. AI Directories was $9.5k of that.” The Stripe-verified revenue page showed “$5,917.41 in the last 30 days” on 23 October 2026.

That openness is rare in this category. It also means one person runs the submissions, the support and four other products, which is the context for the missing delivery time.
